Dr. Elluru will meet with you during a personal consultation to discuss your concerns and treatment goals. Based on this conversation and an examination of your lips, he will recommend the best lip augmentation option for you: fat transfer from liposuction, lip augmentation using AlloDerm, or possibly temporary fillers.

Step 2: Procedure

Dr. Elluru performs lip augmentation using AlloDerm at his office. He uses local anesthesia to numb the area before treatment. Lip augmentation using fat transfer requires liposuction, which is performed in the office before your lip augmentation to provide you with just the right volume for perfectly plump lips.

Step 3: Next Steps

After your lip augmentation in Portage, it’s normal to experience some swelling, bruising, and discomfort. Ice packs can help ease these symptoms. If your lip augmentation includes fat transfer from liposuction, you may experience some soreness in the liposuction sites for a day or two.
